Adobe Acrobat, Reader security risk investigated

Anyone out there still wondering why Jobs kicked Flash out? Adobe must be the software company with the highest profit margin offering the least value ... and most risk.

Will not take much to tell Australians that, seeing that its cheaper to Fly to LA and pick up a boxed copy than to buy a download only from Adobe :D

What bollocks. The guy doesn't even try to answer the question. Adobe is a company that I just cannot stand. This video shows why. I made the jump to Corel Draw, and yes I know it is not as powerful, but the price difference is so great that I cannot justify paying for Adobe. How can a one person setup afford their prices? It's beyond mad.

Holy cow, did not know they where still around!!!!

Well they lost me when they sold out to Microsoft like in literally) and killed the Linux division as part of the deal.

At version X6 (16) already. And it works really well. Vector and raster in one box for less than Photoshop. The dark/black interface of the latest CS iterations also don't work for me. I wish more creative companies would go the Corel route but it is cult thing to use Adobe products ... and on Mac one has no choice but to us Adobe.

I used Corel (ver 5 or 7) for my companies first Quotations/Letterhead way back in '95. Easy to use & effective.

Haven't had Adobe Reader on any puter since 2006
