No - not gotta - should. If you register you will be allowed to download from Adobe. And the registration process will work. Just be aware that if you have a Mac, this s/w will only work on PPC or Rosetta, which is not available from Snow Leopard onwards. If you are on Win 7, you will have to follow instruction widely available via google. If you have hassles, just shout.

Well let me put it this way - it is technically illegal, but you can be pretty sure that Adobe is not going to hunt anyone down for using it (especially since half the internet is convinced its legal). So it largely comes down to whether you're OK with bending the rules or not.

From Adobe's point of view they'd rather have you illegally use the CS2 than say GIMP. They'll never admit as much but generally companies prefer people using their product (illegally) to you using a competitor's product. Mainly because it improves mindshare and improves the odds of you buying CS in future. Same thing with Windows in China...all of it is cracked but they still indirectly support MS Windows as the dominant OS.

As I said thought - totally illegal. :p

Oki doki :) :D

It is, but if you're not signed up for a course in relation to the products they reject apparently. So you have to add the cost of the courses.

From what i've found out, they don't care what you are studying. Maybe it's worthwhile phoning ODSonline and asking.
