ADPCM to MP3/Wav convertor?

I've been tasked with converting a vox tile to mp3/wave. Vox files are ADPCM format files created by Winscribe which is a dictation unit by doctors, lawyers etc.

The reason is my colleague is wanting to create a Powerpoint Presentation using a dictation sample by a doctor.

Does anybody have experience with converting these files, or able to suggest software/freeware able to do the job?

You could try sox ...

This command might work ...
sox file.vox file.wav
where file.vox is the file you want to convert.

Yup the extension I'm working with is a .vox file, thanks a ton for that link. Gonna check it out!
