Ads and pop ups

Hi guys,

apologies if there is a thread already about this.

I am struggling with ads and pop up on Firefox and Chrome. I have installed adblock on Firefox, but this does not seem to work 100%. For Chrome, I get Network_Failure errors when adding as an extention.

This is annoying me out of my mind and not sure what to do? Googling just refers me to adblockers, etc.

Any guidance / advice?

What about a spyware/adware scanner?
Seems you are infected, no your pc...

I use combo of 3 to clean clients machines
Malwarebytes
Spybot
Ccleaner

I have the same problem with ads/popups on certain websites consistently popping up, its driving me crazy. I sent the laptop in for problem to be sorted out, R400 later and still the same issues. Traveling at the moment so couldn't take comp. back to the shop. Installed Malwarebytes and that seemed to help a little bit.

Adwcleaner is really useful in getting rid of adware. I have used it quite often, go ahead and give it a try.
