ads getting through on youtube

I was watching some youtube videos when advertisements started to come through even with my adblock plus installed on firefox. It used to work about a week ago, but not any more. I though adblock plus might be the problem so uninstalled it and tried adblocker ultimate. Either these extensions are not working anymore or these sites have been craftier and overcome these adblockers. Any advice?

I got rid of the ads! It was just my plugin that was not working. Also removed the ads from other video sites. I would go mental if I had to endure those ads.

Some of the better ones change their clothes or backgrounds to make it easy to skip at least.
