Hi Forum,

Is there an alternative for google adsense that I can sign up for please?
My request for adsense on a website has been declined twice now.
I've seen some sites with way less content than mine and they get approved .

It seems the bot or whatever doesn't seem to think I've posted enough content.
I'm getting 200-300 visitors a day now before I've even gone fully live and started driving traffic to my site so wtf :(
Is there an alternative I could try sign up for cause google wants to be this difficult

thanks forum

If Google's Adsense program is refusing you, they probably have a reason for doing so - at which point are they denying the application, because there are two possible points where refusal can take place.

Usually they will provide a reason for the refusal; also as far as I know requests for Adsense are reviewed by humans and not by bots.

Thanks for your reply man.
Yeah the reason advised that there is insufficient content.
I guess I'll just keep on building on the content for another few weeks and the apply again.

cheers bro

Definitely go with Adsense. They can actually be trusted, don't allow ads which link to malware, pay on time, and are a part of the new "ethical" ad-blocking initiative which is going to try and allow for ethical advertisements to pass through ad-blocking (in other words you are more likely to make revenue).

I once helped a guy who had the same problem as yours, his website: http://ubuntulife.co.za .... I checked his sites, told him what to rectify and said he should go for it again. he was approved and he gave me nice Ubuntu Life branded mug :) You can PM me the link to your site and I'll look at it.

Adsense is trusted yes but there are some other good ad services, just use Google search and check some reviews out.

Also being an affiliate is good (provided your website relates to a product)

Firstly, if you do want to monetize your website with PPC advertising, go with Google. Stay away from all the others. Been there, done them all. From terribly low PPC rates to late and sometimes non payment. Google by far has the best paying program, like mentioned above trusted, and they pay on time.

Secondly, affiliate programs can be good - depending on your site and your type of visitors. Affiliate programs could earn you upwards of 200 times Adsense income. If you have the right site and traffic, you can easily be looking at tens of thousands of dollars in income. However, that being said, I have played around with many affiliate programs, even the big names and found a tremendous amount of troubles in getting paid. I think, about 10 years ago I was owed in excess of US$45,000 which was never paid to me between about 15 programs. I eventually decided to let it go.

If you are serious about making money on the Internet, your money will not come from these sources. Or, well, you will not become a millionaire from them. Real money on the Internet lies in subscription-based businesses and selling products online. Personally, I think that all other websites, including a site like MyBB, basically generates just about enough to make a living and is actually a waste of time.

Just my 2c.

Did you make more than $45k in that same time period?

No, money was made over the period of 1-2 years prior to that. Smaller companies changed policies and increased the amount you need in your account before making payouts. A week before payouts, some larger companies state that they are conducting an audit before paying out, or that they received complaints that need be investigated, or that they have not yet received any payment from the company using their program. The list of excuses goes on, but I eventually gave up on the money.

And, if your question is if I made more than $45k in that same period of time with other businesses, then yes. I have partnered with a friend selling products on eBay. Actually doing very good with the small business there.
