ADSL 192k

Hi guys.

Can someone pls break down the cost of DSL192 for me. The melkhom website is kinda crap & confusing. I see that it's R329 per month.
How much would an ISP charge per month?

The same as always.

ISPs dont have 192k or 512k accounts. The line determine the speed, not the account.

hey the dsl 192 line rental is R329 per month and then there is your ISP.
From Telkom there is the 2gb cap isp(R199) and a 3gb cap isp(R249).
UUNET has a uncapped ISP at +/- R750.

Dont forget the first month you pay double line rental (329*2) plus installation!

Also dont forget the R87 compulsory phone line charge

So its:

R329
+R87
+R250 (3gig account)
=R666

Is anyone using 192 yet? Any good? the 192kbit line + UUNET uncapped sounds like a winner combo to me.

And why do you have to pay double rental the first month?

well they cahrge you for march and april so you dont pay april for example
