Hi guys

I have a straight forward question, which I'm interested in.

My Huawei Router was set to all under DSL settings. G.dmt, adsl 2+ etc all blanked out.

I went into my router, and thought let me change ALL to ADSL 2+

Question, should I leave it as ALL or should I leave it at ADSL 2+? What is the difference between all these, and can I can issues by selecting adsl 2+

Thanks

You can leave it on ALL. The exchange you sync to will connect ADSL2+ if the exchange supports it, otherwise it connects as adsl (g.dmt).

If I set it to ADSL 2+ and there is a connection, does that mean my exchange supports it? And similarly if it doesn't connect, do I assume it doesn't support it?

Yes, that is how it works.
Okay I've set mine to adsl 2+ from All and I'm having a much better connection, well apart from congestion.

So it feels a bit more stable. So I'm guessing that when it set to All, it's constantly trying connect to the various options?
