ADSL 640kb upstream?

jeez dude, thanks alot for the upload speeds! I really appreciate it! Sitting here working on stuff at 3 in the morning and only noticed it now when I had to update a site. Thanks again

I saw a rare sight at a site yesterday - at least I think it's rare:

512kbps line ("Faster DSL" from Telkom + Mweb as the ISP) synch'd at 640kbps DOWNSTREAM and 384kbps UPSTREAM.

Does that mean 512 has been upgraded???

Or was it an anomaly in (T)the (M)matrix?
 
It may sync at that speed but they still limit you to 440/256

photonman, could you explain to my why for a certain period of time my latency for local servers stay as low as 18, but now I cant get less than 28 ?
 
It's because no matter how low your ping you still suck at online gaming.
 
Razer0, possibly because telkom's lines are not 100% stable.. nevermind they're 100 years old, so i suppose one little rain storm can destroy a connection... sux eh :/

interesting to see Neotel installing the fibre along the road parallel to me.... or at least i think its neotel :P
