i have 4mbps lines around the country, and 1 at home. one at home wont sync properly at 4mbps so i've limited it to 1024k, (rather have it work properly all the time than fast, half the day), but my upload on the 1024k one is 512k, and upload on the 4mpbs lines is 384k. so i call telkom and ask them to make the other lines 512k also, and oke reckons they can only provide 512k upload on 1mbps and 2mbps lines, so if i watn 512k up, i have to get them to change the 4096k to 2048k... sounds like rubbish to me?

anyone that can help me on this? upload is essential for me as i run vpns on the lines...

Yeah sounds like rubbish.
At home I have 4096 down and 512 up.
At office I have 4096 down and 384 up, it's a new line only installed last week and waiting for photonman to be released by the black suits to do the honours of upping the up to 640 or 512.
