ADSL advice

Hi guys.

I am currently using a Telkom 4meg uncapped account. I will be moving to Florida Glen in the future. At my new place, there will be an extra user living in a flat. His main uses for ADSL will be streaming via Apple TV, online gaming and p2p downloads.
We can schedule downloads for the evenings and weekends.
My guess will be that we will be using 400-500Gb per month. My uses is similar, but I stream via youtube, etc.

With a budget of R1000, excluding voice line, I am considering a 10meg home uncapped or 4meg business uncapped.

Any other suggestions? Which is suggested isp?

It may be cheaper to get a 20Mbit line through Vox at R340 or so.

You can still get a 10Mbit uncapped account from Crystalweb though and if you do ever need faster speeds make use of a capped account or something - regardless it is cheaper than a 10Mbit line from anyone else

Unfortunately there is no landline currently. I tried the site where you can use the address, but get a message that I must call the call centre.

The weekends are not considered off-peak on Telkom uncapped. Not great for gaming or P2P at present (see uncapped thread)

So I just found out from Telkom that there is no adsl capability to my new property in Florida Glen.

See if BitCo have coverage in your area.
