Adsl cancellation question

So CW is managing my adsl and Ive cancelled their service for fiber with another ISP.

According to them the dsl will move to the holding pool end of May when cancellation is activated.

What happens then? Does the adsl go back on my Telkom bill?
If so when can I cancel it with Telkom?
 
It will go back to your account. You can cancel it whenever you want to, but it's quite a story these days. I think it would be best to go to a Telkom store and cancel it there.

pls report back when you figure it all out, i still have about a month left before i'll be able to cancel if the LTE works.

I've cancelled with CW in the first week of this month (so before 18th cut off), therefor the service will stop at the end of May. On the last day the adsl will be moved to the holding pool and back to Telkom. I will go to Telkom and cancel the landline with adsl.
 
Hi Sharkbait when we cancelled our DSL line mid last year we had to do it by filling in the form and emailing it with a copy of the account holder's ID and the main page of our account - the one with the account number and other details. It was a residential line, so the local Telkom store sent us packing. They only sort business lines there, according to them. What we did worked without further intervention.

Which address did you send the form to?
 
This form doesn’t work anymore. That email servcancellation@ just bounces.

The new way is to login to Telkom online. The OLD portal not new o e. Then go to the line and click cancel and upload you ID.
 
I am also in the process to cancel my adsl since my fiber line is installed and waiting. The mailboxes at Telkom has been closed and a new process came into play. I had a chat with TelkomZA about the mail just bouncing, and he advised that I visit www.telkom.co.za/eservices in order to start the cancellation. Just select the service you want to cancel and then upload a copy of the account holder's ID on the cancellation page.
 
So it's the 4th of June and Telkom Portal still does not show my ADSL line (only voice)

PODIO said on 1st June;

"Status changed to Feasibility Check In Progress "

What does this mean?
