"But Internode manage director Simon Hackett said in practice, most customers within 2.5km of exchanges were experiencing speeds of about 15Mbps, on a scale ranging from 5Mbps up to 18Mbps."

At the ICASA hearings Steven White was pressurized to give at least one country with which we can compare our services (they said we simply can not be compared to any country)…he selected Australia :D

Telkom: What is this technology? These people don't know what they are talking about. ADSL was not designed to be so fast. Only bandwidth hogs could have a need for such speeds, and as bandwidth hogs should be in cyberjail, there is no need for such speed in South Africa!

I beg to differ, speed can be very important, for the transfer of big graphic chunks, Video conferencing, transfer from large data packets, etc, etc. There are not all hogs out there..*gg*

Well, if Mr White chose australia then ill place my order NOW for my very own 15Mbps DSL line. Thank you...

Errr, thats 30 times faster than 512, so R600 * 30 = heart failure

Don't forget that you must pay one month in advance.
600 * 30 = 18000.
Installation happens on the 15th of May - your end of month May bill comes to 18000 + 9000 = 27000.
LOL - Wow - Fantastic - Incredible - Smashing - Sigh.

Capitalist company which gives you computers with blue screens (just reflecting on a bad day) - reminds me of a certain company - I just can't put my finger on it though
