ADSL Dead?

Despite the fact that Telkom 0800 375 375 is so busy that I cannot even get through, Telkom will probably state that there are no known issues.....
 
ADSL Dead

I stay in the far east of Jhb. My phone adsl/phone line is totally 100% completely DEAD.

Haven't seen anyone mention anything about their phone lines being dead yet though?

Anyway also can't get through on their number so basically I guess we all just going to have to be like good little children waiting in the dark for magic to happen. :confused:
 
OK - mine is now worse.

Popping my mail is very slow, as is surfing.

EDIT: mail is now completely dead....

Another five minutes at this rate, and I may as well stop working.

Was down for that period here in PMB (IS) too. Back up now thankfully.

uploading 20MB to my server at IS: 30minutes to go, been running for 10 minutes already.

It would be quicker to crawl across broken glass to IS and type the data in.... and less painful.

ADSL - Always Damn Slow & Laggy.

ADSL is slowly coming back on, my mail servers work and now that carp that IS call a "Hosted Exchange Solution" is broken...

lol days like this that i wonder why i moved from diginet to adsl...
 
ja so like all my adsl lines is stuffed, since yesterday. telkom oke on his way to me with his laptop. he reckons line is fine. so i told him to come try open www.telkom.co.za on his laptop using my line. lets wait and see....
