ADSL DNS down?

Is it just something wrong with my line or is there a general ADSL DNS problem since yesterday?

I am connecting now via Vodacom 3G, but i cannot do any Internet browsing with my ADSL connection.

If i know the IP address of a website or use my VPN to the office it works perfectly.

This is with Afrihost or Axxess as ISP.

make your primary dns 8.8.8.8

Agree with 8.8.8.8(gooogle) as dns or you can try 208.67.222.222 (opendns).

Is this on the router?

I have never had to specify the DNS before - only put in the ADLS user name (Afrihost or Axxess)

Also do not want to mess with my PC DNS settings as it is also used on a corporate network.
