lol ... I had issues a week ago, my line dropped for 6 hours... I called Telkom's 24/7 technical helpline (10215) and left it on loud-speaker... Needless to say the music was killing me and the "We are currently experiencing higher than normal call volumes" message was driving me nuts, but I waited and played a game while waiting...
This was between 12:12 (midnight) and 06:00.
lol.. no answer... Eventually just went to sleep, woke up around 09:00 and... guess what, it was magically working again. Fancy that.
bah... our line at home is completely DOWN. for more than 24 hours now. phoned telkom (because the phone still works) and they say that Telkom is working on the exchange and some people are affected by it.
strange then that the neighbours are fine, and the office, and some other random people...
