I think they are upgrading all the people still connected to UMCs first, I believe most of the area should be upgraded by September.

My latency at home to the first hope went down marginally at about this time. Guess that's a good thing.

Yours looks good compared to mine.
It goes into the 100's sometimes.

Our line goes to the MSAN on Sandown road, just after the 7/11.

Whenever I drive past, the telkom dudes are always working on the box.

I was down from 12:44 - 12:47 today according to my mIRC logs.

Did anyone have insane pings yesterday? My latency to the exchange was like 150ms. Two friends on the same exchange also had the same problem. I don't know how long it lasted but it was fixed the next day (today)

On the MSAN front: Technicians were working on the MSAN in Marine Circle on Saturday and again on Monday. Could only be a good thing I guess.

I guess this is the official Table View ADSL feedback thread now :p

Anybody else get their line cut off momentarily a few minutes ago?

My entire line was down including voice. VDSL sync came back about 5 minutes ago but dial tone was still dead. Dial tone is back now too. Weird.

Don't know if I'm happy or sad to hear it's not just my connection.

My line attenuation & SNR is great (~10db & ~26dB), but I cannot risk downloading anything big without a resume option in fear of a random disconnect. Have tried different isps, modems & filters, but all have the same problem.

Luckily, it usually only last a minute, but still annoying.

Hi All,

I am in Sunningdale and only got my 10MB line 3 months ago... All was super quick till about 2 weeks ago. Now, every evening I get disconnected at about 9PM and have to reset my router. In the day, the speeds are horrible and my line is unresponsive at the best of times.

Before ADSL, I was with 8TA and had exactly the same problems! This is quite rediculous :-(
