ADSL drops?

Hi

I use a Telkom Mega 105WR Router in bridge mode.
I have a 384k line but it seems to randomly drop, The pppoe connection shows it is still connected but I have no internet connectivity. I have to restart the router to get internet access again.

I am in Vierlanden - Durbanville area
Any advice as to what could be causing it?

Yea, could be. I however get pretty constant ping just these randoms drop type things

.how often? because everyone has lost sync randomly least once ...esp when trying to keep a local session alive from the previous month into the next

anywhere between 0 - 9 times a day.

I'm in Vierlanden as well - Telkom dropped my connection to 1mbps and now the line is stable. Download speeds are poor compared to pre August 2010.

lyowtch something's not right. back when i had that router it used to jam every now and again, couldn't even access it's UI until switching it off and back on again. don't sepose you can borrow one? 105s are pretty old by now
