ADSL DSLAM port?

Will spam the "minister" until there is co-operation :)
Maybe the minister can come up with a turn-around-strategy for me?
 
Oh guy, goodluck to you. I've been waiting for over 3 years now, when i moved across the road in Sunninghill, Jhb. Everytime the reason was, there is no infrastructure and there is a project in the area, but last weeks response was a stunner - "It is not in our current budget, and we are not sure when the budget will become available."
 
SAOL going active on 1st March, for the weekend signed up with my free 1gb from fnbconnect :)

Hi Hemps,

How did you do it? I've been waiting for over a month now. I was told the are no ports available and that I should wait for the next financial year for somebody to come put extra ports. I'm in Fourways Broadacres.
 
Hemps was lucky; they had just commissioned a new UMC in his area!
 
I know , just in time - not something that happens often in this country.

I would of had to wait until 1 April to use SAOL - going live on Sunday midnight apparently.
