ADSL Durbanville

I connect via a Mweb - adsl is active, pppoe is established but zero traffic.

Logged a fault with Telkom this morning and they say there is 'maintenance'.

Called for a status report - yes, there is maintenance.

Where is there maintenance ?

Everywhere ! Everyone is having no access to the internet.


Uhm, I don't see any threads here re a major Telkom outage ?

Does anyone else have the same problem or are Telkom just clueless as usual ? :twisted:

I've also had no traffic, logged a call with MWeb an hour ago.

Seems better now, though.

It was the same here. Internet stood still.

My internet's been crazy for the past few days but seems to have stabilised now. A Telkom technician told me that they're doing VDSL upgrades at the Durbanville exchange (near the police station).

My ADSL is working with MWeb, but very very slow..we are close to the Post Office in Durbanville
