ADSL for Email and Web surfing....

I just can't believe the thick headedness of Steve White. He still seems to believe that ADSL was designed for email and web surfing... Yet all the Telkom advertisments create the sense that ADSL is so much more. It is obvious that ADSL was created for far more than what Steve White intends. So let me ask him, how can you justify me paying R1000 per month for checking my email and a restricted session of web surfing?

He also loves to wip out the stats of the average ADSL usage and the precentage of compliant ADSL users! All the policies and prices seem to be attributed to the evil 4%'s actions. As if big Telkom is bullied by us..... :confused:

One positive is I do like the fact that they are trying to accomodate the 4% users. It is a start....but for how long?
 
He is not a thick head he is just bu***** in order to make more money for Telkom .
 
And its also becoz hes getting it up his socket ring from the big wigs becoz hey its supply and demand right...we want they give.. but for a price $$$
 
It's like this ...
Teklom : You are allowed to use 3 litres of water a month to water your gardens - because if you use more than 3 litres, we will not have enough water to go around - OKAY !
Public : Fine - but our gardens will never flourish and the dams will overflow.
Teklom : Look - we don't need to give the people more water cos they only use 2.5 litres anyway [since we restricted them to a max of 3 litres].
Public : But our gardens are dying.
Teklom : We don't care and we're selling our excess water to cellular companies to use to cool their towers.
Public : We're skrewed.
Teklom : Buy shares.

Public : Can we please have more water for this month - i've used mine all up.
Teklom : Sure you can have more - just pay your ass off over here ...
Public : But I thought you said there would not be enough water to go around if we used more than 3 litres.
Teklom : That's true, but you're paying for it so we materialise some new water from our magician's castle there in centurion.
Public : Now you're talking carp.
Teklom : Shuddap and by shares.
