Wats up,so i got hooked up yesterday and all but when i go play games like cod i get a massive ping of 500 + will every one else has below 100.
some guy said i should take my router firewall down but im using one of these new billion adsl 2+ routers and theres no option to take it of so if some one could help me get a low ping id be reallyt greatful,thanks

Probably not a good idea to disable the router firewall. I cannot see how that would raise the ping to 500 in any case.

Are you maybe connecting to an overseas game server? In which case that kind of ping is unfortunately normal.
