Anyone using ADSL still in 2022?

Just got a line activated as a backup connection and it's running pretty decent. Isam is pretty empty too with 74% availability.

Had it until January when I moved, never had any problems and was always up even during load shedding. Only drawback was to unplug the line when there was lightning in the area.

On Pure VDSL 40Mb, speedtest I get 45Mb so I'm happy.
Fibre in our area will cost more for slower speed.

I have 40mbps PureDSL since before fiber were available in my area, keeping it as a backup in case my fiber connection goes down... works like a charm. Speedtest show 42mbps down and 11mbps up, download speed of 5mbps+ I used to pull +- 7TB per month on the line. 5 stars!!

Was on ADSL for the better part of 2021 moving from LTE. And was pretty much happy with it save from a cable loose on the pole causing random disconnects. Was waay better than the adsl I had here 10 or so years ago, better than at the time congested LTE and rain's 5G tower being too far to have comfortable internet. Also didnt appreciate octofails poor workmanship and downtime in the area. Currently on OS fibre as I use upload more than download nowadays and loving it

In an ideal world (for the customer) having openserve maintain and implement ADSL as failover for their fibre would be a welcome addition but probably unlikely.
