ADSL in Boksburg down?

Anybody on the 918 exchange got sync?
My modem is not even attempting to sync, which means it's not picking up any ADSL signal at all.

Teklom reckons that there is a general fault in the area. I just want to know if they're F.O.S or if my modem is perhaps poked.

I might add that it's been down since 11h16 yesterday morning.
 
The exchange is in Post Office road, Bardene. Just off North Rand Rd. :p

Oh well, I suppose I can go chuck rocks at it. ;)
 
Duno what exchange I'm on but as said in previous thread - dead in Springs as well.
 
Atlasville in Boksburg is working

but then we are closer to Kempton
 
Well when I got home yesterday, I checked my voice service - beeeep beeeep beeeep, so it's even more poked. 43 hours and counting. By my reckoning it died at around 11h16 AM on the 4th. Not entirely sure when the voice service went down as well.

Bloem slow & on-off

Not sure if it is related, but my ADSL slow and even though the router syncs the ADSL, none of my accounts logs in. Logs in modem has all these call failed entries which probably means more to someone else than me.

Apparently the Boksburg issue was due to a cable break - most likely to do with the construction work happening (sort of) across the road from the exchange on North Rand road. That's what I reckon anyways.
