adsl in weltevredenpark

So,moved into a new house in Weltevredenpark,go to the Telkom store in Northgate to get adsl and they tell me theres no ports i must go onto a waiting list as they are installing more ports,i ask how long this will take and off course they dont know,this was in dec 2014,so end jan i spot a telkom van in my street ,i stop and ask the tech when they are installing more ports? He says there are NO plans to install more ports let alone a date to start putting in more ports WTH:m
ad:How is it possible in Joburg in this day and age i cant get adsl and the people at the store are just liars.

Yeah, contention in the area is pretty bad, and the exchanges are overloaded. Until they actually upgrade them, we'll continue to struggle.

Hi I stay in the same suburb and got telkom to speed up the msan installation by going on to twitter and spamming them for dayz and months so best bet would be escalate this on a public space like twitter where they have social brand managers also looking at customer feedback.

My parents live there. ADSL line can't even sync above 2mb. Its one of the ****test areas for DSL unfortunately
