Ok, so after spending the last few hours helping Telkom get the lines into my place things are finally up and going.

Below are the line stats with the DSL-2500U

Down / Up
11.6 / 13.6 - SNR Margin (dB)
37.0 / 19.9 - Attenuation (dB)
8.5 / 12.1 - Output Power (dBm)
17868 / 1276 - Attainable Rate (Kbps)
10015 / 1021 - Rate (Kbps)

Speedtest.net using my FNBConnect account for a test - http://www.speedtest.net/result/2442261374.png

So now to choose an ISP, 4Mbps will be sufficient for my needs, may go to 10mbps later on but was wondering what ISP's offer test accounts, I am looking for an uncapped test account even if it is just for two or three days to see what my speeds will be for my normal use, not one of those capped test accounts that the moment I go on an uncapped account I get terrible speeds.

So who do you recommend I speak to? thanks in advance.

PS. stoked to finally be rid of the wisp :)

Get a test account from Mweb, Plugg and OpenWeb.. decide from there.

They all over Test account.

Also ask Openweb for their current specials as a Test account. Their Silver package is pretty awesome and on special.
Enjoy....:D

Any of the ISP's offer prorata where first payment is month end? Budget has been stretched to the max this month with Christmas and would like to get the interwebz up and going, FNBconnect is going to be done by the end of the weekend :)
