ADSL issues

Hi all,

I've just got home from being 'away' to find my ADSL syncing at 4MB but my internet light is RED (Netgear router)
I've tried multiple accounts (Axxess, WebAfrica, Afrihost) and nothing works.

Any ideas what is happening?

I'm in Vredehoek, Cape Town.

I'm in Joburg and since the power has come back on at around 6:15pm I have been unable to authenticate. Might not be related but thought I'd reply anyway.

In Centurion, mine took about 10 min after power came on to tie a green light for "internet"

Afrihost was having authentication issues. It just sorted itself out a minute ago for me.

Mine also went back online a few mins ago - I don't know if it was isolated to AH as I have two accounts which dialup simultaneously and both were not authenticating (Webafrica and Afrihost).

Same here... just randomly started working.

It could be the exchange is loosing power as well during loadsheading.
