Hi Guys,

I have a DLink 300T. I have my ISP account and everything is hooked up. I'm just waiting on Telkom to switch over my line.

I spoke to an inside connection from Telkom and they told me it was already done. However I get the following message on my system log:

"Transport endpoint not connected"

That means that the line on Telkom side isn't connected to the DSLAM right?

Thanks for the help.

Does the Sync light come on on the modem? if not then they havent connected you to the DSLAM yet.
Enjoy ur new connection once its up!

The ADSL Sync light blinks... Not sure if that means searching or found.

Think it means it hasnt synced, solid normally means it has synced

I'm having a little problem with Telkom.

My ADSL has not sync'ed as yet. They told me my line would be enabled by last friday (wednesday before, but they changed it) Anyway, friday came and went and nothing happened. I phoned for information and somebody phoned me back this morning. They say my line has been enabled since the 1st of December. I have asked them to double check and get back to me.

My modem is correctly setup and working... In the System Log it records "Transport Endpoint Not Connected" every 2 minutes. Which says to me that my line is not enabled on their side?

The connection I've setup is PPPOE with the default settings (VCI etc...) and the username and password provided by my ISP.

Can anybody confirm my logic?

Thanks.
