I'm unable to log in to the Discovery Bank app if I'm connected via WiFi and fibre, but I can log in if I switch off WiFi and use cellular data instead. If I do log in via cellular, I can then switch to WiFi/fibre and everything works - except for the facial recognition. If I have to take a selfie for verification, I have to switch back to cellular data.
Is this a common situation? I'm guessing that the bank server creates a connection back to the app (web socket?) that is blocked by the fibre ISP or router, but is not blocked by the cellular network. Is this likely? Is there any way of telling what ports are involved?
