I've just bought a Billion ADSL modem. It claims it can do ADSL/2/2+ over POTS and over ISDN.

I didn't know that ADSL over ISDN was possible. I always assumed that Teklom would convert my existing ISDN to analogue to enable ADSL. -- I hope this is the case, since I don't want to pay elevated rental on an ISDN facility I wouldn't use. I haven't seen any mention of ADSL over ISDN before, so I assume Teklom doesn't have the capability at present.

Is there anyone who had ISDN converted to ADSL that can comment?

Telkom doesn't do ADSL over ISDN, but as far as I understand the modem supports the ADSL over ISDN standard used in Germany.

Specify that it is an ISDN to ADSL conversion otherwise they will pitch up at your doorstep with a cable roll and try and pull you a new telephone line.

They took back the NTU box and I was up and running within 10 minutes.
