Lol, people are screaming about email (digital lifeblood) and you're worrying about torrents (digital hair gel)

Seacom is broken and so is Mweb backup plan. Those who can have switched to other ISPs in the interim because it'll be down for at least two weeks

Heads up to all, try not use other DNS servers - else your routing will be screwed
Just changed mine from the usual Google provided DNS' 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 to auto and my International (seems) better

Very good advice!

You should always try to use DNS servers that are close to you. You should see a noticable improvement particularly during an outage like this. Your DNS packets won't have to travel over congested links all the way to Europe and you'll get automatically mapped to local mirrors instead of international ones for many major websites.
