I have a 384k dsl line. I usually connect with the router in bridged mode and using a pppoe connection. Today, it simply won't connect. In Windows, I get a '678' error complaining that there was no response.

1) the modem syncs
2) I can access the router's web interface

I have tried connecting via Linux (my usual OS) and Windows with the same problem.
I have tried two different computers, same problem.
I have tried two different modems, same problem.

Noise margins are 26dB up and 12dB down.
Attenuation is 51dB down, 30.5dB up.

What could be up with my line?

Make sure you set the Multiplexing Method to LLC - we don't use VC. This should hopefully resolve your issue.

Heh I doubt you are that noob - but worth a shot in the dark :P
