ADSL-tariewe eintlik net 12% goedkoper

Some extracts,

Telkom kan 'n reuse-agterstand,,,

agterstand in ADSL-installasies,,,

All is A OK though, Telkom dishes out free trips to Europe for like-minded government appointed Icasa officials and our illustrious minister, by her own admission, doesnt have a cucking flue what her telecoms costs actually are.

The warm fuzzy eludes me.

Woa... maar weet RPM nie dat dit moes onwettig is om in Afrikaans te post? Hoe durf hy.. haha, nee ek speel net.

Very good that a newspaper can atleast let its readers know that they are being verneek.

O, I just around to reading the whole thing, is indeed pretty good. much better than anything else Ive ever seen printed about ADSL prices in a newspaper, well latley at least. Burger had something a while back, also in the Sake afdeling.. isnt this general news at all?

Ek kannie Afrikaans verstaan nie. Ek het dit laas in skool gepraat.

Please forgive any linguistic or grammatical errors in the above statement. I'm not quite perfect. :D

I'm not aware of anyone who has a warm fuzzy feeling when Telkom is around...

So, in summary?

The real ADSL savings (come August) from Telkom is not 24% but more in the 12% range, they have a moerse backlog, and they dont care cause they dont have competition, and somehow its good for their R30 billion network upgrade because the backlog means the upgrade is need driven and thus the upgrade doesn't need to create/stimulate the need, and that Telkom sucks.

Ah - many thanks for the assistance :D

I wish google translate could handle this sort of job but I guess there isnt much of a demand.

There is a website that does afr to english (and visa versa) translating..
um.. something like interpret.co.za? Try google if you ever need that again.

Its made for translating websites and has been limited due to abuse, so apparently there is a demand? you can only do 150 words or something, i used it once a long time ago..
