Hi there,
Would it be possible to 'team up' two ADSL connection to create one bigger/larger pipe?
Example: if I had two 4mb lines, could I team these up to make one 8mb pipe?
bruskie.

You can, only place i found them are

Check Edimax Multi-Homing Broadband Router 2WAN 4LAN
Edimax Multi-Homing Broadband Router 4WAN 1LAN

You will still need adsl routers between telkoms line and the Edimax.

So your setup will be 2 adsl routers set on bridge mode connected to the 2 wan ports on the edimax.

From within the edimax, you can setup pppoe connections, it will then load ballance according to your settings, so you will set it on 50/50 for full 8mb pipe..

Cheers

and you'll need two adsl lines installed.

You still won't get 8mb/s on a single thread / download however...

What you're referring to are called bonding, and you can't do it unless it's done at both sides of the line. Telkom won't do it, so good luck.

I agree with previous posts, there are quite a few products out there thats able to offer the "load balancing" function however its mostly used for redundancy, in the event that one line fails. If your still interested in product have a look at Netgear range - awesome products
