ADSL (Telkom) connecting to IPCOP firewall

Hi All,

I am battling to connect to an ipcop firewall admin interface on https://firewall...:445/ on the telkom adsl backbone.

I have tried multiple ipcop firewalls on different networks and the connection just times out. Other http traffic works.

Anyone know of anything I can try to connect to ipcop firewalls using Telkom ADSL.

I use Telkom ADSL, and have no problems connecting to an IPCop firewall at home - also running on https://....:445

Have you enabled external access for port 445, and 222 in the external access menu?

Also, there is an IPCop addon you can install - called GuiListenPorts - which allows you to change the port from 445 to 443.

I can access the IPcop server from an IS ADSL account, IS Uncapped and other ISP connections from IAfrica among others.
