One month into our Telkom 4Mb Uncapped Internet and it's dead. It's taking 20min+ yo open local pages. Nothing on international sites.

I see my line attenuation is sitting on 50db, could this be the problem? If so, what do I do?

Currently in Newlands/Fernwood area.

Thanks

It dropped down to 49db and its working again :wtf:

How does 1db make such an incredible difference?

In my less than expert opinion, that 50db is your problem if those are your attenuation ratings. The lower the attenuation figures and the higher your SNR figures the better your line should preform.

The rain and weather took it;s toll on my line over the weekend.

My telephone line is dead, but internet still work (with sync errors)

These are the current rates(with sync errors)

These are my normal figures when the line is going well.

Get a technician out to check your line is my advice.

Read this guide.

Hi there
I suggest that you get your line checked. If it is a normal line as well as data then ensure that the voice side is clear as well. Telkom is quicker generally with voice quality than data. Also ensure that the pots filter is not faulty. Easy to do by taking filter out and plugging router in directly and see what your stats are like then
