I don't theenk so.

Somebody broke da maths.
Who'd want an application that names itself as a Trojan horse would that cannot do math?
 
Only two posts and one is about this app, I would be cautious.

Oh this is sad - here I make something for FREE and all you guys can do is criticize. I actually made it for myself and thought others might be interested. It's not rocket science - it simply loads your stats page in the background and parses the values from it. Who would make a Trojan and put it on a public forum?

I just had to post the agreement in this program: "If you computer gets damaged in any way as a result from using this application, the creator will pay 1 cent towards damages." :eek:

In order to avoid more hate mail - this app only currently works with cybersmart and sainet. If you want your provider to be catered for, send me the URL to your stats page.

PS stoke: I can only report what your providers stats page shows - values are rounded off hence the offset in your available bandwidth.

How somebody creating something like this for Linux?
 
I don't know GTK/GTK+/QT well enough and besides, who uses linux for a workstation? It's an abomination. :sick:

The real abomination is untested, bugged and flawed code...

Tjoppie, if you cannot even get the basic arithmetic right (that being the core of this application of yours), how on earth do you want have an opinion on vastly more complex program, such as operating systems, and be taken seriously?

It's free - if there's bugs, i'll fix them when I'm made aware of them. Is every piece of software you use 100% bug free?

Ok, so clearly you're just thick and can't read. If you had read previous posts you would have noticed that I said I can only report on the values that your ISP has on their stats page. The values that stoke pasted would have been identical in the app and his stats page.

Do you not understand the meaning of the word offset? Are you not familiar with the exceptionally difficult art of rounding a number up or down? Perhaps you remember this from Sub A/Grade 1?

Operating systems will be complex for you because you lack the basic skill of reading/writing properly. e.g. "emperical" :mad:
