ADSL vs FTTx

Latest Point-Topic report reveals that DSL continued to dominate the global broadband arena, but FTTx is getting closer

Unfortunately we all know that global trends do not apply to SA :(

Not very impressive considering the population of the earth.

I'm actually more excited about FTTC. Give me a short stable copper loop until FTTH is a reality.
You can get some decent bandwidth with VDSL2.

+1 - VDSL is plenty fast, in fact normal ADSL is fine if you have decent backhaul that is not congested and priced to the moon!
