Nothing wrong with taking some time, sitting alone and just expressing the feelings and emotions that want to come out.Had those moments
If that is how it affects you, you're more then likely not actually an ADHD sufferer.Joining this thread now, I was prescribed ritalin as a kid, hated it, ended up selling it to other kids at school (I wasnt the best kid)
Fast forward, my partner got prescribed some medication for focus and offered me one on a day when I really needed to work, it was vyvanse.
I remember now why i hate stimulant type stuff and these kinds of meds. The anxiety was almost crushing during the day, heart rate flutters, jittery, agitation, what an awful experience. I have a history with illegal drugs, and it took me straight back to it, I actually had similar thoughts, mind frame everything.
Possible, or he could just have a bad reaction to methylphenidate. The meds don't work the same for everyone. If that is how it affects you, you're more then likely not actually an ADHD sufferer.

Though I'm sure the antibiotics and Prep you pop makes you feel amazing. You need drugs. Cocaine, whiskey, opiates, SNRI's and a weekly perverted pomp with a dirty prossie.
Sorted me out in 3 months.
A friend was telling me about that, his Dr switched him over.Might need something like Inir instead which doesn’t have the stimulant ups and downs.
It’s also better for anxiety.

Prep on your tollie? Thats not ADHD, thats masochismHuh? You cover your tollie of course.
Sure but then a chat to the medical practitioner and you get things adjustedPossible, or he could just have a bad reaction to methylphenidate. The meds don't work the same for everyone.

Yeah apparently helps people who have anxiety as well and it doesn't have the crashes.Yeah it takes a lot longer to become effective and more important to keep taking it every day.
Works better for people who struggle with the very direct effects of the stimulant alternatives but isn’t as obvious.
Doing grocery shopping on the Saturday, during Black Friday weekend, bobbing and weaving through the crowded isles at speed while the music I was playing in the car playing my head and 1.5x speed, thinking about how different I'd be handling this situation if I was on meds.
I would love to know what isles are in a shop though, I mean what waterways run through themMaybe play it at normal speed like a normal person and you won’t need the meds?
Literally inducing urgency and anxiety in everything with that.

I do better in situations that require urgency, strangely find I'm calmer and think better in those types situations than normal ones that's without meds I suspect if I had to take the meds that wouldn't be the case anymore.Maybe play it at normal speed like a normal person and you won’t need the meds?

I think I'm in need of a aisle-land holidayI would love to know what isles are in a shop though, I mean what waterways run through them
About 20 years ago I started off with Strattera (the Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor) and it started to work well. Unfortunately, finances became an issue and I had to switch to a stimulative equivalent.Maybe, I have had so many diagnosis over 30 years.
Pretty sure I have bipolar type 2
Was ADD diagnosed as a kid, then ADHD was the term used later. The meds helped in a way, but the side effects have always been brutal. The crushing anxiety is very very difficult to manage
