Advanced driving courses

About three of us would like to do advanced driving courses. One is a student on a very tight budget, and the other two are also on fairly tight budgets. BMW's advanced driving course have a very good reputation, but is quite expensive. Sabaru's seems to be the most affordable, but I have no idea how good it is.

Have any of you done the Sab course? Or what would you suggest as to the best trade-off between cost and quality?

As a company team building exercise, we did the Audi Advanced Driving course a few years back. Was quite impressed. Not sure what the costs are now.

That would be the 4rings one?

They ask R 2635 for their high performance course, and R 1864 for the Advanced Safety driving course. We would like to do a high performance one, but when all's said and done, budgets will decide.

Just remember to go for a high performance course which matches your needs e.g.: if you drive rear wheel, go BMW. All wheel, go Audi, front wheel, go VW.

i did the vw one 2 weeks back. it was a gift so i am not sure about cost.

if you drive a 2 wheel drive car, go with someone like vw (you drive gti's); if your car is all wheel drive go with subaru or maybe audi; if you have a powerful car go with merc (you drive an amg c63)
