Advanced Routing with RouterOS

Heya, sorry, yes, Virtual PC 2007 is free to download from Microsoft.

Capture ISO image, and it will boot from Mikrotik ISO image to install OS. After installation, take off the iso image, and let the Virtual_PC run. It will run in conjunction with your current network card (hardware level), and yes, it will work.

Give it a try

Cheers

Aqox - Thanks for access to the route file. I will upload and play with it and update my routing table.

Nopers, in PTA

Alot of wireless isp / community providers are using these equipment in SA for their backbones, and even managed server side.

Have u tried doing wireless backbones with N-Stream on ? It wipes out the .11a/b/g standard, and gives you 100mbps backbone !

Basicly have 2x antenna's at both sides, 2x at one end, 2x at other end. One is your send, other recieve, same on other side...

Aqox. Thanx for everything.

I have set up Router OS and it works nicely.

Do you know how I can open ports to dl local torrents.

Thank you

Hi guys, I really like this RouterOS idea. I checked out the os and its very nice and quick and have been playing with it in a vpc environment with a linux and xp vpc's and so far so good.

I also came across this SME Server Looks like its the same thing as RouterOS, can someone have a look at it? I don't have any cap left to download and not that much time to setup a new pc for this. RouterOS was very easy to get working..

Oh i also found out that www.miro.co.za is the reseller for MikroTik and i found out that the RB/433 and RB/433AH is going for R1088 ex.vat and R1625 ex.vat and the mini wireless pci card is going for R327 ex.vat. :D
