Hi All

I'm looking for a nice and easy-going adventure game, i'm not realy into the action adventure type (Fallout) games.

Any suggestions?

Monkey Island or Dreamfall:The longest Journey

or Deathspank if you have an xbox

Would recommend Monkey Island as well, damn good adventure game.
Although I have never played the new remakes of Monkey, only the old classic ones

any of the lucas arts adventure games- I enjoyed full throttle- finished it in a weekend.
day of the tentacle was also really good

beavis and butthead have their own adventure game also that was really fun- you had to go around college picking up women, it was lol

other wise check out http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ its a free adventure game maker with hundreds of titles on the database- some good, others not so much

Sam'n'Max is pretty cool too. Get onto Steam and have a look there, they usually have the adventure games on some special or the other.

FULL THROTTLE o my wod those were the days awesome game hmmmmmmm check where i can find it

My best adventure games:

Full throttle, Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, Space Quest 5

If you want an adventure game just to kill a bit of time, try Machinarium. Was quite entertaining

Fahrenheit (Also known as Indigo Prophecy)
Still Life
Syberia I & II

These are three of my all-time favourite modern adventure games in order of preference :) Fahrenheit is more action-y in the sense that there are a few timed sequences, however the story is absolutely exquisite and the timed sequences are (for once) incredible fun and add to the immersion.

There are also always the classic series: Monkey Island, Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest (and as Sir Ook says, the Silver Lining :p)

Oooh yes! Dreamfall! :D

I gotta agree with Voicy, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey was one of the best adventure games I ever played, if not the best.

As for old school, I was a real big fan of Torin's Passage and Toonstruck back in the day.

Fable1 was actually a very awesome game.

but yeah for ultimate humour: Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle!
