Search for SCUMMVM online. I'm sure you'll find plenty of sites that offer some of the older games for the price of your conscience. I can highly recommend Machinarium as well, it's actual more of a puzzler, but at $5 it's a steal! Also look at http://www.telltalegames.com/bone - awesome adventure game. As a matter of fact, most of the telltalegames are quite fun.
