easy one...

how long should we give it for "the pill" to settle down? She has been taking it for a week, and its kinda wrecked a bit of havoc with her emotionally :( badly... :)

give it a full months try? btw she is taking yasmin

cya

My wife took yasmin and its very good (edit: she is now pregnant, reason for the past tense and it was planned just in case you think it was the "pill")

If she is having problems then let her see a doc, or on a budget then get her to speak to a sister at the local clinic/chemist.

Thought yasmin made you fat?

If it was prescribed, it should be OK- most docs know their stuff. Not too sure if you can just sommer get a pill over the counter...

Have heard some stories though- hopefully she's not one of the minority that experiences the side effects.

You need to find the correct pill for your body. A friend of mine was on yaz, which didn't agree with her, then yazmin. After two month, her body was still not liking it. Finally she went onto Femodene and is now happy. If it isn't right, keep calling the doc to change until you find one that works right. Everyone has different body chemistry and what works for one women might cause problems for another.

Give it a month or two for her body to become acustomed to it. If she is still a banshee after that she should go to the gyne.
