Advice - financial

Sounds like they are plotting to get rid of the mom, so they can get to the R4 million. I can see the partner then offing Andrew, thereby getting the R4 million and the house with Airbnb and turning it into a whorehouse.

Do you think that we should ask @Andrew001 if he has life insurance or not? Because if it is only 1 million then his future wife may spare him, but I don't trust the two ugly sisters.

I was also wondering about the area that the house was in, and whether it has a North facing roof or not. And the AirBnB flat, I was wondering about that too. Very important these days for valuations, don't want to get the 1.5million rand figure wrong. He also did not state whether the 1.5million was including the AirBnB flatlet or not, was wondering about that. Also whether his house insurance is up to date? Maybe if the mother was paying that, it wasn't.

Since you cancelled your post I cannot give an objective comment, but @Snyper564 and @RonSwanson generally give me good advice. So I am going to default that you are the childish one.
Confirming another users view of how to set out the situation in a fair manner and alerting the OP that SARS is looking closer at rentals from airbnb got me a troll and thread derailment card...

I don't think the intention was to read it like that. I think what he meant was he wants to make a wise decision as he put his life savings into this. It will be easy to just split it 50/50 or something so that she is taken care of, but that if things go south, that she does have other sources of income and that he would like to keep it a good business decision rather. That's how I understood it anyways.
Agreed, and that's exactly where anonymous advice is a good thing, it tends to cut through the emotional bumf that clouds clear thinking, and concentrates on the facts.
