See man - I really carent read.
2 Aspects to ADSL - the physical connection, and the data connection.
The physical connection is 2 copper cables, one side plugged into an ADSL modem/router, the other side plugged into a DSLAM as the exchange.
The data connection consists of a PPOE transmission of data. The PPOE transmission must include the security id so that the AUTHENTIFICATION server will accept the transmission, otherwise it is rejected.
That's it.
So - down the same line, several PPOE packets of data can be running up and down with different security id's without any problems at all.
But the basics still remain - ONE MODEM/ROUTER + 2 COPPER CABLES + DSLAM POINT + PPOE PACKETS + AUTHENTIFICATION SERVER = ADSL.
So - basically, how many different types of PPOE packets you can send down the line depends on the capabilities of your ADSL MODEM/ROUTER.
Me clearer this time ?
