Advice needed regarding blocked tear duct

Need advice on where to have my child's eye assessed and treated for a blocked tear duct. Anyone been through this procedure?

My bub just had that at 7 weeks old. Can't do anything for him at that age but a massage of the area (as guided by the Paed) really helped and the issue went away.

I assume you've tried a massage of the duct and still no joy? Go speak to a paed who will refer you or speak to your ophthalmologist.

Correct. Tried the massage over some time but still teary. Thanks for the advice.

My wife went to an ophthalmologist with a blocked duct a couple of months ago. It was infected, and had to be cleaned out. Antibiotics were required, which sorted it out pretty quickly after having the duct unblocked.
