Hi,
So I want to get some backup power so my internets stays up during shedding. I know I can go the Gizzu, etc. route, but my question is, can I use one of those for both devices if they use different voltages?

Router adapter has an output of 9V - 0.85A
ONT adapter has an output of 12V - 500mA
Those numbers are taken from the info on the adapter plugs.

Would prefer to have a singe device as I am starting to run out of plug points now. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

There are lots of threads with this question. The device that you want has dual 9V and 12V output:
DC1 Interface
Output Voltage: 5, 9, 12Vdc
Output Current: 5V, 9V, 12V/3A
DC2 Interface
Output Voltage: 5, 9, 12Vdc
Output Current: 5V, 9V, 12V/3A

Thanks, to be honest, I didnt think of searching for it.
On a side note, that same unit is on sale at Wootware for about R345 less at the moment

LINK

Edit. Just read the first quoted bit again. Its not an issue if the device need 0.5A and the unit supplies 3A is it? I know just enough about electricity to be a danger to myself and others.

The gizzu from wootware would be fine and the devices you are powering draw the amperage they need, the gizzu does not push amperage to the devices, so you are good getting the gizzu..
