You are beyond the six month CPA warranty period so there is no giving it back.

Also how on earth did the car need brake pads when it hasn’t even gotten to its second service?

Honestly don’t know, I don’t drive it hard by any means , was on a dirt road, and it went “bing!” Got a phone call from the dealership later on that day to make a booking

This sucks. Has BMW On Call /dealer offered you a loan car during this time?

Dealer has, which I really appreciate , my holiday though is now forked , was supposed to be road tripping early on Monday already, and the loaner isn’t a road tripping friendly car, especially with family , luggage etc

The insurance obligations on a loaner is terrible for the renter so please check the t&c’s out especially if using on a long trip. Check if your own policy covers loaners. Last thing you need is a fooked car and paying 80% retail value as an excess.
