I am moving house and in the previous apartment we had Cybersmart light speed at 500mb R899/month.
New house is in Obs, CT. Options is Vumatel Aerial. Trying to decide the best option for speed and price. Looking at 200mb but don't know if this will be enought for all the streamin and download requirements. Another factor is the router that is provided by suppliers. So far it is a toss up between Afrihost, Cybersmart & Cool ideas. This would be a new install.

Depends how many peeps are streaming and downloading concurrently.

I moved to CI form websquad , no issues on CI

Mind the speed

The default should be Afrihost. The Afrihost rep here is a machine in responsiveness.

Netflix uses around 15Mbit for most 4k content, so theoretically 13 people can stream 4k on 200Mbit. Should be more than enough for most households

Thanks. Gives me a good indication.

That's also the one thing that swaying me more to them. Thanks all. I think I'm making my decision. Afrihost then.

I also jumped on Afrihost due to seeing the good things on here. I hope the big bosses see your worth...
Avoid afrihost like a plague mate, its currently the most under performing ISP, sadly.

CISP + Vumatel here, probably been down three times? in maybe 4 or 5 years consistently get my 50/50 with them and the team on here are very active and always willing to help out should you run into an issue.

Had an issue here and there but it gets fixed quickly once they are made aware of an issue. We also get a UK VPN for better quality EU gaming where the likes of Google and Amazon networks when picked up locally is not the best routes.

My sister has Afrihost and is very unhappy as it buffers all the time.. She is now going to look at moving to another isp.. I've suggested mind the speed

@websquadza is always on top of things and with nearly 2 years with them, I have no complaints. Solid connection and great comms when anything is hampering the connection

Try WebSquad

Yes we use web squad at the office for small group of people but our data usage is on the high side. We have a 200mb service with them with static ip and not a single issue with them. Everything just works with them. Cool ideas is also good.
